I got paid by Writing Cooperative and The Billfold, both publications on Medium, they both used PayPal and I had to sign a W-8 form, that’s all there is to it. It took us all a couple of minutes of our time, and you only have to do it once. I’m pretty sure if these publications can manage, Medium can too. I find no excuse for this, even though you seem desperate to somehow find this acceptable. It’s not.
