I have never even remotely implied that Kobo doesn’t want to provide the best service they can and doesn’t work in the best interest of authors so I don’t understand what made you think that I said or even implied that?!

I just don’t think that Kobo readers would be willing to spend more on books than Amazon readers, though, that’s all I said. Conclusions that Kobo readers are willing to pay more for the same thing as Amazon readers makes no sense whatsoever and I don’t care who said it unless the statement is supported with hardcore evidence rather than random guessing. If anything, Kobo’s promo strategy that is based on low-priced books attest to the more likely explanation that the opposite is true. It also certainly doesn’t mean that they don’t wish the best for their writers.
