I’m not saying that it’s all black, only that the quality overall is deteriorating. That doesn’t mean that it’s not possible to find any good stories here, it just means that it’s getting harder and harder to find them with increase of less than great content.

It doesn’t even matter to people how much they can earn as long as they see it as an easy buck. I came across posts that were stolen from the web and published as member-only stories. That’s another example of the kind of behavior that is getting more and more common here due to the paid story option. It’s no effort for whatever return. These people don’t care about anyone and that shows.

Also, I’m certainly not against writers being paid. I’m arguing quite clearly for the donation or support button that would let the readers reward posts as they saw fit.
