One point you completely overlooked is the fact that women are not just harassed (implying this is done solely by men) but are harassed by other women who can be even crueler than men. I stopped self-publishing books because I’ve been trolled on Goodreads — judging from the names of the trolls, this was done mostly by women. So that’s one aspect that is usually completely put aside but is important and needs to be dealt with too.
