That was in 2016 and even if it were true then, it is not necessarily true now. The problem is, no one but Kobo has access to information and data that could confirm this and they do not share that information. I’m pretty sure this in not true or not true any longer given the Kobo promotion options that are aimed at discounted and low priced books.
