Well, I’ve had a discussion with two guys on Medium over the last two days and they think communism is the greatest thing and we should implement it asap — for me, that would be AGAIN and is the last thing I ever want to see happening.

I tried to explain (and, like you, supported my statements with facts) the horrendous devastation and quite literally millions of deaths not to mention unheard of levels of corruption that resulted from this ‘wonderful’ regime, to which they replied that that wasn’t communism and that all of the countries who have had or had had communism simply failed to do it right.

So, yeah… I get how you feel and I’m sorry, but I cannot offer any words of comfort since I’m as perplexed by these type of events as you are. Interestingly enough, this too is the type of thing that helped Trump get elected… Sigh.
